Faithbook was created to provide a place for believers in the Gospel of our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ to fellowship with one another without the interference of worldly influences. We strive to make this a holy (morally pure) and sanctified (set apart) location for our fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord and those that seek Him honestly from the heart. Everyone is welcome, however, everything is not tolerated. If you have an honest heart to know our Lord and King Jesus, we welcome you with open arms. If not we pray that you will come to know the wonderful truth of the Great Creator becoming man to save His creation from eternal punishment that was intended for our kidnapper the devil and not mankind.
Mankind was kidnapped through deceit in the garden when the devil cast doubt on what God said and fathered the first lies on earth.
Genesis 3:1-6
1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Through these verses we see the method of the devil:
1. Cast Doubt on the Word of God.
2. Cause confusion in human understanding.
3. Outright deny.
4. Tempt us to act on our unbelief.
Plainly you can see the confusion that the devil sewed in Eve when she quoted God as saying that they were commanded not to even touch the fruit. God only said they were not to eat of the fruit (Genesis 2:17). They could have played ball with it if they wanted to. Once he had her confused, he was able to get her eyes off of what God said and tempt her to desire things for herself (make herself wise) and ate the fruit thereby removing access to the tree of life. She was named for being the mother of all living but became the mother of death.
But there is a good ending to this story....God came to earth in human form through the body of Jesus Christ and became the payment for that sin in the garden through His death and lived perfectly to regain the way to the tree of life for mankind. Since He earned the Way and paid the price through His own death which He overcame, He is just in giving life to anyone He chooses. He offers it to the world as the ransom for our sin to the kidnapper that stole your soul through deciet so He might buy you back and take you to the Kingdom He has prepared. Praise His HOLY Name.
This is why faithbook exists, to combat confusion by verifying everything by two or three clear witnesses from scripture and to exalt the name of Jesus who has delivered us from the wrath to come. This is how we decide what to allow on this site, everything that exalts the name of Jesus Christ and clearly states His Word is accepted.
